Kanva Revisited

Well it has been a long time since I have updated the blog. More than a year. Things have been quite hectic during the year and I was lazy enough to procrastinate writing daily. However, I have been visiting my own blog some time, just to see if it still exists on the web.

I welcomed the New Year along with a colleague at Mysore. Kanva falls on the way between Bangalore, where I stay, and Mysore, where I spent the New Year.

Within a span of a few months, the landscape of this reservoir has completely changed. Great rains during the fag end of the previous year has filled it almost to the brim. You can see the transformation of this lake in the images below.

I usually travel by my bike. It is a Royal Enfield Standard 350 cc bike. My colleague, Nalin accompied me for this trip.
